Hello friends, my story may be trivial. I am 40 years old. I am a simple worker from Russia, I worked as a welder at a factory for 21 years. In connection with the pandemic, I was laid off at the plant and simply thrown out into the street, without a pension, without merit to the organization. I spent all my health. I have a mortgage, a loan and 2 hungry mouths. We do not live richly, like everyone else. I found a job in a taxi and I earn $ 7 per hour, but even that is not enough to cover all my expenses. Soon even the cat will have nothing to feed. I am addressing you, residents of another country, because We are all lost: the authorities do not care about us, they only fill their pockets, someone who lives next to you will not help you, he has the same problems. Hello, I hate asking but I am so desperate right now. I have tried all different options, but it seems that no matter what I try, I end up going backwards. At the moment I am far behind on my rent and getting evicted. I don’t know what else to do. 
The past few months everything has gone wrong. I am a single mom to a 7 yr old with some issues of which I am constantly having to leave work because of. He was almost expelled from school until I had to fight with our local school board to try to get him the help he needed. I missed a lot of work because of these issues. 
Of course, that isn’t the only thing that had to happen, I had to hit a deer on the highway and while my vehicle was damaged poor Bambi did not make it. I suffered from whiplash of which I have been having to take time off because of the injury and getting treated. 
I then got the flu shot of which I got a skin infection from. How I don’t know, but that caused me to miss even more work. 
Then the best is that I tried to get a personal loan to consolidate everything and pay off my past due rent. Guess what, I got scammed. They took me for $1000 that I borrowed to get the loan as they stated I needed to pay for loan insurance first. 

I just don’t know what to do anymore. I am giving up. I don’t have anyone to help me out with a place to live, and it is winter time. I don’t want my son and I to freeze. 

If anyone would be willing to help that would be absolutely amazing! And when I am back on my feet, I would pay it forward.

Hello. I come to you in dire need. Due to a very heated situation with my parents, I've been left on the streets and cut off from any source of outside income. I can possibly scrounge up enough money for food and rent at dorms for another month, but after that I'm fully broke and stuck with no roof over my head and also no way to pay my monthly tuition. I've been looking into jobs I could do on the side, no positive responses yet. There are no friends or family members I can turn to for help, especially not one's living near my university. If I fail to find a job, I'll have to drop out of university and become homeless with winter soon approaching. 

I'd like to ask for some help with paying for living expenses/food/essentials. I'm not expecting much, but I'd be eternally grateful if someone could help. Thank you.

Hello I am trying to raise the money to replace a bike which was stolen from me, the thieves smashed the door open and managed to steal my bike which I heavily rely on for my main means of travel (i am not covered through insurance) of course I called the police who weren't at all helpful, there was footprints on the door from where the thieves kicked it and the housing have cctv (they won't show me it, the police have to request it) however the police haven't even been out to speak to me or check the cctv (the break in happened in the early hours of Monday & I reported first thing as soon as I found out what had happened) I only found out because my next door neighbour sent me a message asking me if I was in & telling me she awoke with a fright to a very loud bang & saw 2 people dressed in black (I was asleep & wasn't woken up) she phoned the police at the time but no officers came out. This couldn't have come at a worse time as I'm only just managing to make ends meet as it isv& with Christmas fast approaching there's just no way I can afford it, I can't afford to use public transport every day either & I can't walk as it's simply too far. I suffer from asthma and walking too far can start it off, riding my bike however is ideal for me as it doesn't affect my asthma & it's free to get about.
