I'm in need of housing and whilst I've tried all usual avenues the only thing holding me back from being able to have a safe place to live is lack of finances.
I feel that whatever I do its just not good enough and I'm struggling to see a way forward. I've worked hard and tried to save when I was able to and am very independent so asking for help from strangers is not normal for me. I've always found a solution unfortunately I can't find one for being able to afford to move. I don't have friends or family who can help and because I'm a single person and working a part time job I don't get much help. I've recently had health issues which means I've had to have time off work (had tohave surgery so wasn't a choice). A bit of back story: I was abused from a young age and the abuser was a close family member, other family turned a blind eye and the church I was part of and family are still part of didn't acknowledge it either. I have recently been dealing with this and the issues surrounding this and feel I'm more in a better place mentally and emotionally.what is difficult is that I still live in the same house and town where this took place and feel unless I'm able to have a place to call my own and be away from these people I'm not going be able to go through the next layer of healing and be totally free as i still have see my abuser as they are family and my family think nothing of it to have him over even tho I have explained how that affects me they don't care. Because of the abuse I didn't do well at school but have worked hard since at getting qualifications along side working (most of the money I was earning went on paying for my education and rent to family .. yes nothing is free I've always had to pay my way)I have helped out friends financially when i was able and helped out others in any way able as I'm naturally a caring kind person who likes to help. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work the other way round. So i find myself here hoping there are some kind people who would be willing to help me.
I would like to set up my own childminding business so equally need my own place for this.

Hi I am a mother of 3 facing eviction.i am already 2 months behind but if by the 1st I can't come up with the $995 I need to pay this months rent my landlord told me he would have to legally evict me . I don't qualify for PUA because the last time I worked was too long ago and I was either fired or I quit. My fiance has a deputy on his case because his last job said that he quit which he did not, he was released on medical leave, I was there when he took the doctor note in. We are a struggling family, my fiancé has PTSD, severe anxiety and depression. He also has really bad kidneys and can't lift over 15 lbs which means he can't bend over and pick up our daughter, and sometimes requires my help as well. I can't get a job because of this, as well as not having a car. Any help would be appreciated. Due to the coronavirus were going to need much more help! Thank you all!

Hello Everyone, I first want to thank everyone on here who’s helping people and just taking the time out to read stories and offer advice. I’m 20 years old and just trying my best to get through school. I went through government grants and students loans as well as applying to other grants and scholarships and due to COVID almost anyone who was a CSR was fired from previous job. Summer came and I was Confident that I would find another part time job or something so I could save up the remaining balance I need for school and to say it been a struggle would be an understatement. I don’t have a family to turn to and only one friend that’s in the same situation I’m in. I currently live with a friend as I had to move out of my house because I simply don’t have the money anymore to even pay rent. I’m a little ashamed to be using this sight but I have exhausted all options and thought why not give this a try. I just need a little break so I can get back on the path I need for school. School is so important for my future as I want to own my own business someday. I’v also applies to government assistance and was denied for some reason as well as not receiving the government checks issued to everyone during the middle of COVID-19. So, We have a very cool project Idea. We wanna to open studio, where we can make pictures - paints by numbers by Photos and other things with similar values.
We know that painting by numbers:
1. Developing creative skills and stimulating brain performance
2. The feeling of soul satisfaction, feeding it with positive emotions, eliminates everyday problems
3. Painted pictures by numbers are great gifts for friends, colleagues and relatives
4. It's nice to create beautiful paintings for your home with your own hands
We know that people are very happy to get such kind of pictures, especially now, when you have to stay at home. I did some pic for my kids and friends and they painted it and want more... We know that this project will be great and it helps other people to be positive.
But, for opening business here we need money. We counted, we need paints, broushes, printer and rent some space. Also we have to pay for the rent. So we need about 4000$ for everything, and I promise, when we open studio, we will make place where some kids can come and paint for free once a week.
I grew up in foster care as a child because I lost my family when I was young. I never had anyone to teach me the value of credit and money. I am rebuilding my credit to be a home owner at some point. My income is stretched because I rescue animals with disabilities and covid took my savings because animals needed things that owners could not provide when they lost their jobs. I owe $23,000 on my vehicle and can't refinance because I will lose my full 7 year warranty. My income will look better to bank if I don't have a car payment and will allow me to build my savings back up. I do random acts of kindness and will continue to but I would like one as well.
