I'm living in a Building in waterloo owned by the working center and through their job cafe have just begun doing some shadowing (3 hour shifts) to learn how to do janitorial work around the building, along with maintenance repairs, painting and fixing up other rooms for new tenants, etc. However, this is the first REAL job i've ever actually had. I was street and online prostitue for over 10 years and finally had enough and wanted to change my life so i can be a part of my daughters and watch her grow up and become a better person who doesnt have to rely on drugs to feel happy or have self confidence. My plan is to eventually be doing 5 days a week of full or at least part time work, taking courses to help me get a small business going and also learn a couple trades and study architecture as well. /all i'm asking for is for enough money to help me stay steady for two weeks I've already got it all budgeted out, and from there on out i should be fine. and when I am finally on my feet, I promise to pay it forward, because I always give back, even if i can't afford too. I'm looking for at least $800-$1000. Or whatever I can get to help me get through a two week period because i get paid every two weeks and im doing everything i can to actually change which ive never tried so hard for anything ever before in my life! I am a single mother of 3 little boys ages 11,8,& 6. We recently went through a domestic violence situation and had to have my ex husband arrested. He was the financial provider for our household as I am currently at home due to some undiagnosed health issues I'm visiting multiple specialists to get fixed. We currently have multiple past due bills and my gas tank is on empty and the kids go to counseling 2 days a week (2 go one day and the other goes a different day). I drive 25 mins one way to take them to their appointments. Our lights and water are due to be shut off any day now. Both bills are near $400 together. I drive a truck and it takes around $60 to fill it up. Times have gotten really hard and I'm not usually one to ask for help but I've found myself with nowhere to turn. 3 days ago I applied for rental and utility assistance but they said it will take 14-21 business days to be approved and my utilities will be shut off by then. I am someone from the Philippines. As you know, our country has the longest lockdowns in the world due to the pandemic. I don't think anything is coming soon to change it for the better.
I guess I am here to have one last try in asking for help. I am currently in debt to veterinary services, because my dog had an infection that made him bleed. I have exhausted my savings in trying to repay the bills and still am in $400 debt.
I also owe my parents about $100 for car maintenance, and $199 in my housing loan debts. Friends have also loaned me some money to help me get by from paycheck to paycheck. I'm grateful for them for loaning me these. But I still have to pay them back.

Unfortunately, with my work being greatly affected, what once a secure income is now part-time. And job-hunting is hard since a lot of people are looking for work, and not all companies are hiring because, they too, are downsizing.

I just need this boost to help me have savings again, because my paycheck directly goes to debts and bills, which leaves me about $9 to last the whole month. Hey Hi all, my name is Mea and I am writing for my best friend in Colorado. She is the kind of person who will be there for anyone, day or night and expect nothing in return. She has spent most of her adult life working in drug and alcohol rehabs because she is so passionate about helping others. She always used to tell me “if I have helped one person, then I did something good in this world.” She is also one of the best moms I know, she would give her children the moon if she could. But she has been thru more than just about anyone I know…most recently tragedy struck her life and the father of her kids and the man she loved so much died unexpectedly. She has spent the last couple of months trying to work thru her own grief and put on a strong face so that she can help her children with losing their daddy. Now she is a single mom and although she works full time, the last few months have been hard and she has fallen behind and she says she feels worthless if she asks for help (ridiculous I know) I know the only thing she wants to keep life stable for her kids who have been thru so much lately. Two weeks ago her engine went out and she is now without a vehicle. We live in different states so I can’t even help her with rides. Yesterday she told me that she didn’t have enough money in her account to buy the baby diapers and that she had to count $3 in pennys to have enough. She is one of the hardest workers I know, she never hesitates to help another and now I am asking for some help for her and her babies.
