Hi there!


First of all, sorry for my English (in the progress of learning it now). If you asked me about my daily life a few days ago, I could answer that I was an ordinary guy, full of hopes and dreams, 29 y.o, with work in a local Ukrainian PR agency as a remote copywriter. With a rented apartment. With my girlfriend Svitlana (we are together for four years) we dreamed about the first our place that we can call home.

But today, after Russia start the war against my country, my life extremely changed. PR communications in Ukraine are stopped, so I lost my job. I had to go on unpaid leave until better times. At least that's what the management called it.
I'm trying to find another job, doing one-time orders as a freelancer, but it is still not enough to pay the rent. Not to mention other household items and essential things.

So, in this situation, I have a lot of free time, that I spend in the volunteer center to help weave camouflage nets for our armed forces.
I know, a lot of people have bigger needs than I do, but in these dark times, I'm totally broken and have no power to move on and need some help.

Never thought that I would have to search Google for places like that and ask for help. If you don't want to help me, at least please help the Ukrainian army. I think you will find the details of official charitable foundations in Google. With your help, peace will return to my country, and with it, perhaps my former life.

Financially drowning in backed up utilities that are close to being disconnected. Please help! My kids don't need suffer like that because I'm struggling to keep up with payments

I’m not sure how else to start but to start, I guess. The short story is that we are a month behind on most of our bills: I just paid April’s mortgage today and we do not have money for May’s mortgage which is due May 1. Our truck loan is also due May 1. It is our only vehicle and my husband needs it for work. Over the past year we’ve been late so many times on the truck loan that they threatened to repossessed it once. We also have a medical bill for $1,400 that is going to go to collections soon. That is a reduced price the hospital gave us but it is still more than we can afford. We make $2400 a month and our bills are $3500 a month. We had some bouts of Covid this winter that ruined our work schedule and income. My husband was able to get covid unemployment but just like everything else lately, we get a little bit that we’re grateful for but it is just never enough. I know a lot of people understand that. Always being a month or more behind is really wreaking havoc on our mental health. I have started a blog to provide another side hustle but most blogs don’t start earning money for about six months, I’ve read. We are trying and once we can at least start breaking even every month I can start to pay this forward. We used to be people who could afford doing Habitat for Humanity trips and other volunteer activities. I’d really love to get back to a place where we can share instead of beg. Let's just say I can't write critical essays in my life under certain conditions. Give me a few hours and I'll be fine, but in the exam it will take me an hour to write 1 paragraph. In nat 5, I basically rewrote an essay (originally written out of time) that I partially remembered because the question was so similar, and that's probably the only reason I managed to scribble the letter A.

It's a little more complicated than that. I was predicted C, which, in my opinion, is ... an optimistic forecast.

My teacher is not the most helpful. Her advice to me was to "practice writing an essay under certain conditions," which isn't particularly helpful when you don't even know where to start.

Hello – I am writing this with shame borne out of desperation! The public's generosity is amazing, but I fear what I am asking is beyond even your exceptional benevolence!


My wife, Suzanne, is my life. She struggles with her health, having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 13 years ago. Despite all this, she stays positive and remains a joy to be with for everybody who is lucky enough to meet her. I so want to spoil her, but to give her everything she deserves is impossible, as there is not enough money in the world for that! But, the problem is that I do not have any money to spoil her in any way. I cannot even afford to do what I, selfishly, want more than anything, which is to spend more time with her.

For me, the purpose of money falls into six categories – the six L’s. They are:
·        LIFE – the day-do-day cost of living.
·        LOVE – it may not cost anything, but to give your loved one that something extra can cost.
·        LEISURE – everybody needs some time off to recharge their batteries. However, as a contractor, if I take time off, I do not get paid, and that I cannot afford
·        LIBERTY – the more money you have, the more freedom you have to do what you want, when you want. Personally, all I want is the free time to spend with my wife.
·        LUXURY – how I would dearly love to be able to take my wife away for a break in the sun, where her symptoms are relieved. Or to buy her that piece of jewellery that would put a big smile on her face!
·        LEGACY – we all want to leave something behind for our offspring. I am no exception. However, as things stand, all I have to leave our gorgeous son is the knowledge that he was loved, totally and unconditionally.
I worry for our future. Having been made redundant four times since my wife’s diagnosis, our finances have been decimated. We have no property, so we can only afford to rent. Our car, which I need for work, is fully financed and we have no savings, no pension and no hope for the future. I have built up substantial debts to cover our living expenses whilst I was off work and have the taxman on my back as well! My health is suffering as I worry, not so much for me, but for my wife. I cannot bear the thought of letting her down and seeing her suffer in any way at all, as stress exacerbates her condition.
We are not greedy people. We are pleasant, honest, law-abiding, loving people who will do anything to help others. We are just in a position where now we are the ones who need a little help. I work hard, both at home, looking after my wife, and at work full-time. But, no matter how hard we try, we just cannot get our heads above water. Our love is the only thing that keeps me going. We have been married for 24 years and are more in love than ever. It breaks my heart that we are in this situation, but I have to keep going to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.
I appreciate that there are people worse off than ourselves. But, I have to do what is best for my wife and my son and I am sure you can understand that. I don’t know if you can, but if you are able to help at all, you could make such a huge difference to our lives and I would be eternally grateful.

I have wrote this 3 times & I keep going over in words so I'm going to keep it as simple as I can this time. My mother was forced into retirement do to a fall she had and since then she's had a series of medical problems arise. I'll name just a few. At 69 she was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, she had to go in & out of hospital many times landing in ICU from low blood sugar to all out high blood sugar landing her in a coma. At one hospital stay she fell breaking her hip She had to have a complete hip replacement. She was wanting  to return  to work as a over the road truck driver but do to her health she can't. She needs help with medication insulin life threatening to not take and get enough funds to move back to our home state . the  transmission went out on her truck so we don't have transportation I know this all sounds crazy but it can all be verified.. She needs  help towards insulin however our goal is also to get back home. Kentucky is where we're from but we can't ever seem to get the money together to move and now our electric was shut off. Mom was in the hospital 2 weeks ago and forgot to pay electric bill so it got shut off 2 days ago.  We won't have money untill 2nd week of April. We've been basicky sitting in the dark and all of our food has ruined. As I said all of this can be verified. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you

I've never been the one to ask for anything, especially financial assistance. I've always been a hard worker. I've been working since I was 14yrs old. I've always kept a job and strived to do better. At this point in life I’m struggling. In December I was let go from The Board of Education. My rainy day money is done s of March 1, 2022. I  have a degress in Early Childhood Education, I worked as a Head Start Teacher, Ran my own Day Care, Had the opportunity to work in a school but was let go. I do have the skills and have the qualifications in other fields but I haven’t been successful in obtaining a new job. Currently rent is $875, utilities $220, cable package $185, credit card bill $648. I've resorted to going to a loan shark & now my payment is payment $1,500. I NEED help ASAP!!! this is the third time i have tried writing a post, so a little about me i have two little boys one 10 and the other 3. i have  rough coupke of years. i lost my job and then became homeless and had to live in a hostel. i am now in priv ate accomadation that isnt up to scratch. i would like to have some spare money to get the place in order and be able to get me and my boys on our feet. im in a fair bit of debt so it does not leaave much left over for clothes and food. we are trying to make the best of it. im trying to raise £1000 to get the flat sorted and get me and my boys some much needed bits and bobs in. thank you for reading.
